Support Groups
Chronic Illness Support Group
Whether you are recently diagnosed with a chronic illness or have been living in a stable balance for a while, you are welcome. We listen to one another and share experiences of living with chronic illnesses. If you want a place to speak freely about your journey, and find others who can resonate, please come find us. We meet on Zoom to accommodate our different immune capacities and occasionally gather in person when we’re able. Contact CC King at ccking.interplay@gmail.com or Rev. Elizabeth Ide at eide@firstparish.org for information and conversation; your questions are welcome. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 10:00am.
Parent’s Support Group
This is an ongoing, confidential group for parents with a child, teen, or young adult who is struggling. Whether from depression and anxiety, transition to adulthood, or other challenges, this is a space for mutual support and sharing resources. The group meets twice monthly and is facilitated by lay leaders. Contact Rev. Elizabeth Ide at eide@firstparish.org for more information. 2nd and 4th Mondays, 5-6pm.
